About Jewels of the Nile

The Savannahs produced here at Jewels of the Nile are produced using domesticated  cats 8 and 10 generations born in captivity to  ensure health maximum size and exceptional color and pattern as well as keeping all of the type of the magnificent African Serval.

I am  a small in home breeder and have a  small number  of quality kittens available throughout the year . We breed for health and serval type and exceptional temperament .

At this point in time my breeding program is highly specialized to keep the look of the serval in all generations.

Please take a look at the generations of my cats.

All cats in my breeding program have as many  serval  traits as possible which helps tremendously in the look of Jewels of the Nile Cats.

I have a point system to evaluate my cats and their offspring.

I started out breeding  in the early 90's .It has been a wonderful journey living with and raising these magnificent cats.

Jewels of the Nile cats have been guests on NBC’s Today Show as well as NBC’s Morning Show for the past 7 years.
Miracle, a  Savannah female was the first to ring in the new year on NBC’s “Pets for the  Millennium”, as well as Cats magazine and New York News segments. Before her was her mother Tsunami of Jewels of the Nile and before her debuted "Gunter" .He is now retired living with Family in NY.

Just recently my cats were featured in New York magazine seen on Good Morning America and CNN .

JON cats are what they are , a tribute to the domestic spotted  pharaohs' cats and  are my creation as well as contribution to living art.
The health, happiness and well-being of my cats and kittens is very important to me. All cats are vaccinated  and checked thoroughly by a veterinarian who has been seeing and caring for my  cats for 8 years now.

I am dedicated to the preservation of this breed  which is a TICA and TISBA recognized domestic breed .(letter from TICA)

It is of great concern to know that the few pet homes that have my cats will take care of them as well as they would be cared for here.

I advocate  and urge new owners to acquire pet insurance to assure the health and care of my precious kittens and cats.

Please read  my contract before considering one of my kittens.

All of our cats are registered with the international cat association a domestic cat registry .

Thank you,

Allison

We love our kittens and are very concerned that they be placed in loving, responsible homes. Potential kitten owners should have a thorough knowledge of the breed and it's care, and be ready, willing and able to provide the quality care that a Savannah kitten needs in order to live a long, healthy and full life. They should also be financially able to provide regular veterinary care for the kitten.  We love to ke

If you are on a waiting list for one our kittens please be patient. We have small number of  kittens available to pet homes throughout the year. The wait will be well worth it!
